4 most cruel kings and queens by Ameerah Levine

Remember when we had kings and queens to rule economies? We all know that back then it was some ways of living that rubbed us wrong today. Like for example, women were called witches if they knew more than a man. Ain't it crazy! Well, we don't always speak on the kings and queens and what THEY did. Here are 4 cruel kings and queens!

Gaius Caligula (AD 12–41)

This man was the worst king in the roman empire. He put people in prison for no reason. He even was rumored to consider himself a god. The sad part about it is, he's caused many wars and terrorized many. He was also engaged in incest with his own blood. This man had no right to be king at all.

King John (1199–1216)

This is a man who murdered and promoted treachery. John was the favored child of Henry II. John didn't have much trust with having power but wasn't too pleased of not having it. He then tried to unsuccessfully steal the throne of his own brother. John was very bitter. So bitter that he had his own nephew executed. Fearing his nephew would get the throne before him. He caused a war and had an obsession with money. Even terrorized women. John was not a nice man.

Mary, Queen of Scots (1542–67)

This woman was considered a violent female who killed her own husband. Long story short, one day she made a political mistake of the first order. Many found her to be useless and gained suspicion after her husband was murdered. Her reign was embarked by political turmoil and protestant fractions.

Queen Ranavalona I of Madagascar (1828–61)

This queen was not the best in the books. She was known for forcing labor on the rest of the population of lieu of taxation. She had a lot of greed.Wanting everything to herself, she had many working as slaves. Enforced a road made and named after her and her family. She murdered 3 people and became paranoid she'd be caught after poisoning them. Got away with it and died peacefully in her bed.
