4 Signs They are Narcissistic and envy you

       Have you ever dealt with a narcissistic person before and you are just not sure? Narcissistic people can be your friends, coworkers, or family. Sometimes you don't always know until you hang around them more. A narcissistic person can pose as a charming person but whats under their mask is evil. It is always good to avoid and be aware of who is in your circle. Setting boundaries between them is a way you can protect yourself. Here are signs they are narcissistic and envy you!

    Lack of Empathy
    First things first, a narcissist doesn't show or give empathy. You'll notice things like, blaming you for things that was never your fault. Especially, when you try venting to them about a problem. When you are sad, they will clown or critique you with hurtful things. Not only that, you may also see them "comfort" you and then silently do you dirty. The main thing to know is never expect empathy because a narcissist only wants to see your misery.

They Seek Attention and Admiration
    Do you remember when you were talking about an achievement you made and they made a scene about it. Even worse, they cut you off and tell people embarrassing things to ruin your night. The whole night you feel uneasy. The thing is, a narcissist can't stand seeing you achieve or be happy. They feel like they should receive the respect and happiness above you. The worst part about it is, they will lie about you and make up things about you for attention. They will even steal your shine for admiration. Yes, they will go to the extent of tarnishing your character.

Lack of Accountability/ Gas lighting
Gas lighting is a main tactic used against victims of narcissism. Take a look at the last argument you've had with someone after they did something mean to you. The whole time you are explaining to them how they made you feel and what they did wrong. Little do you know, they don't care. They start flipping it on you and deny their actions. One main thing is, they will even act as if you are being crazy and lying. Narcissists cause drama and do messed up things for a reason. For what you may ask? It excites them to see you suffer.

Controlling Behavior
This is a major red flag when in contact with a narcissist. Watch out for this behavior and run if you see it. When you don't do what a narcissist wants, you will be in for a horrible situation. How you will know about this trait? For example if they start being petty, starting arguments, or treating as less. All because, you didn't do what they wanted you to do. They will also embarrass you and throw a fit to humiliate you. Setting boundaries and telling them no will prevent them for reigning over your happiness. If they can't respect or stand the boundaries, they can leave through that door. A narcissist wants you to deal and handle their goals.

      When you are mentally tired, it isn't fun. I could say I was like that myself. Listening to your body is what matters the most. I was told that by many and I didn't think of that until my mental took a dive. Mental health is a serious thing. It wasn't fun at all. Wanting to sleep a lot was a major sign.
